Thunder Reloaded (also called Thunder 2) is my second expansion for the Roland TD-50X and is a perfect complement for drummers who want additional powerful sounds and soundscapes to integrate into their music. Thunder Reloaded is filled with tons of new instruments that work optimally with the original Thunder expansion for exponentially more sonic options. The sounds in Thunder Reloaded tend to be deeper and darker. The very heavy attack transients of the original Thunder have been replaced with more of a full bodied attack and release algorithm. There are lots of awesome and creative surprises in Thunder Reloaded! This is a great all-around pack for many music types!

Thunder Classic (also called Thunder 3) reimagines vintage and timeless drum sounds that will work with music from any era. These are not classic kits like you have ever heard before! These sets will sound great with your favorite classic tracks when you want some punch and power that was missing from the original recording. I have created some amazing and intricate cymbals for this set, as well as some really full sounding, deep drums. Thunder Classic is my darkest and driest expansion and works really well for lots of different music types. 32 kits are fully produced Recording Kits, featuring an easy to recognize icon on the kit name screen. I utilize all the features of the TD-50X module to craft kits that sound like they were recorded with complete production tools in a world-class studio environment.

32 kits are Live Kits, featuring close mic isolation techniques and a controlled sonic environment that would be used for live sound reinforcement, such as during performances. These sets offer a completely different experience playing and are ideal when you want a more focused sound, complete with all the production that a professional sound engineer would use live.

My kits feature custom programming across all 14 trigger inputs of the TD-50X module, featuring 5 toms, HH, ride, 3 crashes, kick, snare and 2 effect cymbals per kit.
